  52.      I am seeking a program that automatically sends the contents of
  53. a keyboard buffer to a program at user-defined time each day. I think
  54. the pgorgram would have to be a TSR, so minimal memory requirement is
  55. important.

  57.      The foreground program is collecting data from remote data
  58. terminal 24 hours a day/7 days a week.  The data is collected via
  59. line polling of the remote units.  The background program that I am
  60. looking for would emulate keyboard input to print a group of reports
  61. which are needed to start each day's production.  I prefer the
  62. semi-automatic report generation as opposed to having multiple users
  63. remember to print their individual reports.  The same keystrokes
  64. would be used every day and would include both alphanumerics and
  65. Function key input.

  67.      All suggestions appreciated.  The programs that I've seen so far
  68. are either macros that are untimed or schedulers for program
  69. execution that do not stuff the keyboard buffer.

  112. Actually, you can use DEL EA*.?SF to do the trick.  The extended
  113. characters shouldn't cause a problem if you use wildcards.

  145. which holds information on a lot of harddisks, controllers and
  146. floppydrives.

  162. PROBLEM:  Cannot execute Paradox 4.0 on HP Vectra ES-12
  163.  
  164. We loaded Paradox 4.0 to an HP Vectra ES-12 PC.  The load process
  165. appears to have worked correctly.  However, when we attempt to run
  166. Paradox, the system accesses the hard drive (drive light flickers) and
  167. then the keyboard locks up.  Sometimes, we can warm boot the system,
  168. but usually a cold boot is required to clear the locked system.
  169.  
  170. CONFIGURATION:  HP Vectra ES-12 (80286 12 Mhz), VGA monitor, 640K DOS
  171. memory, 2 MB extended memory, 0K expanded memory.  This model does not
  172. have expanded memory.  PCs were donated -- but the configuration did
  173. not have the expanded memory board. DOS 5.0 installed.

  194.   I have a problem with an old XT clone that I try to maintain for our
  195. church.  It has been operational for several years now (purchased it in
  196. 1986).  Recently it was moved from one location to another.  Now it
  197. will not boot from the hard disk any more.  You can boot from the A:
  198. drive and access the hard disk, but now, since it has been moved, it
  199. will not look at the hard disk when it is first turned on.
  200.  
  201.  Does this strike a chord with anyone?  Any idea what might have gone
  202. wrong?
  203.  
  204.  The setup/configuration is maintained via DIP switches, so it is not a
  205. matter of the setup being lost from memory.  I can't figure what has
  206. gone wrong.

  208.  Since this affects our ability to operate, I would appreciate it if
  209. you responded directly to me so that this problem can be fixed as soon
  210. as possible.  Unfor- tunately, we can't afford to buy a new computer,
  211. so we have to live with this one as long as possible.  * *

  244. Does anyone know why the high density mode of an ibm ps2 1.44 floppy
  245. drive doesn't work in an ibm compatible AT?  By the way, I did
  246. connected the 40,38 en 36 flatcabel lines to the power supply, it seems
  247. to work fine in the low density (720Kb) mode.

  252. formatted in 'another' machine on a PS/2 with no problems but I've been
  253. unable to get diskettes formatted on a PS/2 to read on an ISA
